- Three Books You Should Read This Summer -

Hello, everybody!

So- lately I have been reading an awful lot. Honestly. And I've spent so so so much money on books, that I've got literally no money left anymore. I shouldn't do that, shouldn't I?

Anyways, yes, I have been reading some books lately and I wanted to tell You my favourite three books what I've read. I just have no more time to write about more than 3, to be honest. I would spend my whole day here rambling about these books, if I would have some more time. Okay.

And I'm rating these books. I know, that when I say 'three of my favourite ones', then all of them should be 5 out of 5, but no. I loved the storylines, but I have something to say about all of these books, so.. yeah..

Let's get started!

"BEAUTIFUL BROKEN THINGS" - Sara Barnard
This is the story about a girl called Caddy and her two friends Suzanne and Rosie.
Suzanne is 'the new girl' and a great friend of Rosie, but when Caddy learns more about Suzanne, she becomes friends with her and that's where all the secrets unfold.
---
I actually had like a love/hate- relationship with this book. I don't know why, exactly, but I really felt like I loved this book because of the storyline and because this book concentrated more on friendships than romance.
I feel like I can relate with friendships more, than I could relate to romance. That's what I loved about this book.
And I wasn't really SO fond of this book, because of how stupid the main character was. I really didn't like the main character in this book, to be fair. And I know that this is a very rude thing to say, but I didn't like Caddy's decisions and what she thought was cool and right. That's all.
---
I would rate this book 3,5/5.

"THE ART OF BEING NORMAL"- Lisa Williamson
This book is about a boy called David, who wants to be a girl and a boy called Leo, who wants to be invisible and has a secret.
I'm going to leave it here, because I would give so much away if I said more.
And I want to say, that this book is so worth reading!!! Just read it. Please.
---
I really really loved this book, because of the storyline and because of the turns this book took. I could not see some of those things coming.
I also loved, that this book made me understand transgender people so much more and I absolutely loved how honest everything was in this book. Also, this book was about both: friendships and romance, if You were wondering.
---
I would rate this book 5/5.

"THE MANIFESTO ON HOW TO BE INTERESTING"- Holly Bourne
This book is about a girl called Bree, who 'is by no means popular'. She hates her life and school and her parents and she loves writing. So she starts 'The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting'. And she starts being interesting.
I'm going to leave it there, because this book is pretty much worth reading.
---
So... okay. Bree is a character that I actually quite liked, but not as much as I thought I would, because, yes, her love for writing is something I can relate to, but her decisions and everything she is willing to sacrifice for being "interesting" is just too risky. I would NEVER do anything so risky to just "be interesting", but this is the whole point of this book, so it's okay. This book took turns what I never thought it would and I have to say, that I enjoyed reading it. It was written very well, so it was easy to read and easy to follow. I liked the storyline and how it all turned out in the end, but I wasn't awfully keen on this book. Although, it taught me a lot, personally.
---
I would rate this book 4/5.
